Salt Lake City, Utah — December 16, 2019 — Epitel today announced it has received an investment from Ideaship, a patent leveraged venture capital firm that provides patent development support for early stage startups. The investment will assist Epitel’s mission to develop an EEG system solution for pre-clinical epilepsy research.
“Ideaship is very excited to be working with Mark Lehmkuhle and the Epitel team. Their wireless seizure monitoring device technology is a cutting edge progression to predicting epileptic seizures,” said Robert Bell, Ideaship Venture Partner.
“As a small start-up we have a lot of forward thinking ideas but lack the resources to protect that knowledge,” remarked Mark Lehmkuhle, CEO/CTO of Epitel. Mark further commented, “Ideaship will give us a much needed boost to our IP portfolio.”
Epitel is a digital health startup based in Salt Lake City, Utah. They specialize in medical-grade seizure monitoring with their non-invasive wearable EEG technology.
