Ideaship Has Invested in BoldHue
Ideaship, a venture capital firm by Global Technology Transfer Group, recently completed its investment in BoldHue. The BoldHue team is revolutionizing the personalization of cosmetics. BoldHue has created a novel device that uses proprietary facial scanning technology to color match and create a custom foundation in real-time.
“BoldHue is blending science and beauty to solve a real-world problem in a way that’s deeply personal. We’re honored to support a team that sees every shade, every user, and every detail,” said Michael Lubitz, Managing Director and Founder of Ideaship and Global Technology Transfer Group.
“As a founder, it’s essential to align with investors who can help propel your business forward across multiple verticals. Ideaship stood out to us for their strong presence in building out brand IP portfolios, as well as their hands-on support rooted in operational experience as former founders. We’re excited to have them on board as partners in this next phase of BoldHue’s journey,” said Rachel Wilson, CEO and Co-Founder of BoldHue.
BoldHue’s at-home device scans the users’ skin in three locations, forehead, chin, and neck to analyze unique skin tones. It then dispenses a custom foundation blend using six pigment cartridges and a skincare infused base. The result is a personalized foundation that offers a radiant, buildable coverage, formulated with clean and vegan ingredients.
