Salt Lake City, Utah—February 27, 2020— RIVN today announced it has received a seed investment from Ideaship, a patent leveraged venture capital firm that provides patent development capital for early stage startups. The investment will support RIVN’s efforts to engineer, manufacture, and deploy their innovative data deletion compliance solution to businesses nationwide.
“RIVN is paving the way for consumers to take online privacy into their own hands and for brands to work with consumers in a mutually beneficial fashion. We are proud to be a part of RIVN’s mission and look forward to their future successes,” said Robert Bell, Ideaship Venture Partner.
“RIVN’s technology offers new methods of compliance management to help companies navigate and meet U.S. regulatory standards,” stated Kazutoshi Yasunaga, IP Specialist for Ideaship and Director for Panasonic Intellectual Property Corporation of America.
“RIVN is thrilled to announce the acceptance of a financial investment from the Ideaship team. As a fast-moving mature startup, we evaluated the global marketplace for an ideal collaborator to be part of our go to market strategy. Once our founders met with the Ideaship team we had no doubt they were the best partner for our company. Ideaship immediately understood our shared vision and have been the definition of professionalism every step of the process thus far. With years of experience in patent protection, an eye on the future and professional flexibility, Ideaship is the perfect fit for us,” remarked Keri Anderson, co-founder and CEO of RIVN.
RIVN was created to help companies meet compliance standards for regulations such as GDPR and CCPA with respect to consumer deletion requests.
RIVN takes a unique approach to data deletion by automating data deletion request using known identifiers as well as unknown identifiers for 3rd party marketing providers like Facebook, Adobe, Google, Salesforce, and hundreds of others.
We know that being compliant with all the new privacy laws is hard and time consuming, which is why RIVN created.
